Listen to a podcast of my poem, My Muse:
Mother Nature is my muse.
She comes to me in fits of hues
from under trees on austral ground,
where armadillos pick and tease,
where birds and squirrels are found.
She comes to me on torrent winds of high,
sending words from the cosmos
in sweeps and bounds of prose.
Those that listen to her chatter,
to her whispers of departed souls,
who feel her rhythms from beyond,
Delight is yours in words deemed whole.

Meandering Time
The past disintegrates into infinite time.
What was shall never be.
Wind driven tides wash away
the dulled memories of recessed minds.
Untethered Spirit moves with time,
boundless, unrestrained.
Unleash Your soul from
the wretched and callous.
They bind and hold and suck
the essence of life.
The past has no friends
nor homage to the withering seasons.
A journey of time and its shadow
becomes abstract and surreal –
A representation of illusion.
A representation of illusion.
